Historically, people from the old Sayappanahalli lost their homes and lands during the construction of the KRS Dam under the Mysore Wodeyars and were displaced to this new settlement, hence the name “Hosa” Sayappanahalli. Sadly, this village still has no mention in government or panchayat records, leaving residents without an official identity. Being a border village, it also lacks basic development, irrigation, and healthcare facilities. I request your kind intervention to include Hosasayappanahalli in official records and initiate essential development works to improve the lives of its people.”
