Responds to — lack of local participation in development decisions
Our village has many needs, but the decisions are often made without us. The Gram Sabha is supposed to be our space to talk about what we need for a developed India – housing, toilets, pensions, schools, hospitals, clean rivers, and roads. But too often, the PO, Sarpanch, and a few ward members decide things in the Panchayat office, ignoring us. People don't even attend because they feel their input isn't valued. We want the Gram Sabha to be where our voices truly matter, where decisions about our future are made with our full participation. Our ancestral land records, water access, and housing schemes like PMAY depend on these decisions being fair and inclusive.
