At home, we save gas for essential cooking, using electric or induction stoves for smaller tasks. For businesses like small bakeries, the increased cost of fuel for delivery bikes and gas cylinders is directly impacting profitability, sometimes forcing them to cut back on services or increase prices for customers. For auto-rickshaw drivers, the daily earnings are hit hard, making it difficult to save anything. Even firewood, a traditional alternative, has seen price increases due to demand. To cope, we're trying to avoid unnecessary trips, plan our work more carefully, and reduce non-essential spending. It's about using less fuel, managing our budgets tightly, and hoping for stability to return.
