Ask what the problem is, then offer help
When someone's initiative falters, the first step is to understand their challenge before offering solutions or capital.

Responds to — initiatives faltering
I hear so many people wanting to start something, to grow, to sustain their families. They have plans: a shop, cultivating shrimp, growing vegetables, setting up a proper house, or even just getting food that was available yesterday.
But sometimes, things start and then they stop. When that happens, my first thought is: what is the problem? We need to ask. We need to understand the blockages.
Whether it's a lack of electricity for irrigation, no doctors in the mountains, or lost medicinal herbs, the need is clear. And sometimes, the need is simply for initial capital, like 20,000 rupees, to get a small shop selling local goods, or to cultivate shrimp. But even with that capital, if the system stops, we must first understand why.
